Little Fish

Synopsis:  Little fish is very sad. He can't find his mummy! He meets a red crab, an orange starfish, a blue whale - many creatures of different colours. Can you help him find his rainbow coloured mummy? This is fun and funky story book is the perfect introduction to colour for toddlers.

Review: Join little fish in his search for his mummy in this sturdy board book. As he explores he meets various sea creatures including a bright orange star fish and a vivid yellow snail. The very simple bold illustrations all have a black background and, apart from Little Fish who is multicoloured, just one colour is used on each page, so the red crab is resting on red sand and the green turtle is swimming along a green sea bed. There is just a small amount of text on each page, with some repetition allowing children to join in.

This simple book provides an enjoyable way for young children to learn basic colours.
