Amazing Baby: Clap and Sing

Synopsis: Clap your hands- one, two, three! Sing along with the CD and amaze baby with these well-loved nursery rhymes

Review: This is a brilliant board book from the superb Amazing Baby range. Fourteen popular nursery rhymes are included in the book, which has a special pocket in the front to safely store the CD. As we have come to expect from this series, the pictures are simple but effective, and tabs down the edge of the page make it easy for children to find their favourite rhyme. Combine this with a very sturdy construction and it adds up to one of the best first nursery rhyme books.

The CD however was a little disappointing. As it started, I felt it was going to be easy to join in with the rhymes as they were played at a pace suitable for toddlers. As the CD progressed the arrangements became more complicated, making it difficult for young children to sing along with. That said, I still feel this is a book and CD set which will delight many.
