Lemons are not Red

Synopsis: Introduce the world of colour in this magical book where red lemons turn yellow and purple carrots turn orange!

Review: Clever cut outs enable the red lemon to become yellow and the grey flamingo to become pink, added to this are simple paintings that would be very accessible for young children. I like the combination of familiar items such as grass and apples with more unusial things such as reindeer and aubergines. There must be so many different colour books and yet this one manages to bring a fresh new dimension.
