Philomena Wonderpen is a very naughty teacher.

Philomena Wonderpen is a big daydreamer. So when on her 8th birthday she is given a Wonderpen, that lets her draw her dreams, life gets very exciting indeed!Unfortunately, Philomena's birthday morning is busy and no one has the chance to tell her about the wonderpen -  she has to find out herself.  During the day Philomena makes the discovery about her pen and uses it to change the class so she can be the teacher. She realises this is not as easy as she thinks and by the end of the day she realizes that a pen this special must be used sensibly.

The pages are busy with pictures wrapped around text which is itself in different fonts and sizes. The pink cover and main character  make this book more appealing to girls than boys. A light hearted story with a lot of humour.
