Mr. Croc Rocks

This is a graphic style novel with lots of pictures, speech bubbles and little text. The illustrations are bright and colourful. Mr Croc wants to be a star like Rocky Alligater, the only things stopping him is that he cannot sing or dance. He does learn to play the guitar though and one day on his way home from a fancy dress party he gets mistaken for his hero and ends up playing in his show.

All goes well while he is playing but then he needs to sing and the mistake is recognised. However, the real Rocky arrives and the problem is solved because of a hurt thumb he cannot play. The upshot:  Mr Croc plays and Rocky does the singing. As much as Mr Croc has enjoyed the experience he realises he would rather be with his friends, so they play one more time and invite everyone to see.

A life affirming story told with wit and humour.
