Lulu's Shoes

Lulu just loves her new shoes but can you guess which are her favourites? Whether they love them or hate them every toddler has to put their shoes on before they can go anywhere.

Many  children feel passionately about their shoes and Lulu is no exception, she  loves hers! Other children love taking them off, not wearing them at all, trying on the most impossible pairs or as many as they possibly can. This book explains which shoes Lulu likes and when she wears different types of shoes– each one in the right place, pink ones for shopping, trainers for the playground, mum’s shoes for the indoors, cosy boots for the winter and so on.

The text is simple and encourages adults and children to talk about which shoes to wear when. Interactive elements include  touch and feel, tie laces and even lift a flap. The text and illustration are bold and simple, inviting without overpowering. ‘=

In summary, Lulu’s Shoes’ is imaginative, interactive and informative, a novelty book and a wonderful book for sharing.
