The Wind in the WillowsFeatured

Synopsis: Spend a season on the river bank and take a walk on the wild side ...

Review: This is an excellent reading of the classic story of Ratty, Mole, Badger and of course that reckless Mr Toad. Be transported to the river bank and share in the magical description of the antics of these friends. Can they join together and beat the wretched weasels?

This adaption is read effectively in character parts. The story is abridged and the running time is approximately 3 hours in 3 CDs. The Wind in the Willows is a focus book for the National Year of Reading and this would be a very useful version to support work in schools or libraries.
