Rusty Robot

Synopsis: Read wacky tales from far-off places about Rusty's friends with funny faces.

Review: Meet five robot friends in this noisy tactile board book. Eyes belonging to Zak the robot on the last page can be seen throughout the book, thanks to cut outs on the front cover and each page. The book is written in rhyming text, and there is something to touch and feel on each page. Bold pictures in bright colours will delight young children and a nice surprise at the end is a ringing telephone for Zak to contact his rocket. Although the format is rather small for reading to large group, this is good book for sharing with a small group of pre-school children or enjoying one to one.
