Wings

Synopsis: Somewhere in a place so far up there is no down, a ship is waiting to take the nomes home, back to wherever they came from. And one nome Masklin, knows that they've got to try to contact this ship.

Review: Wings is the final title in the trilogy 'The Bromeliad.' the audio book is an abridged version read by Tony Robinson.

To fans of Terry Prachett this would probably be an entertaining purchase but I would recommend reading or listening to Truckers and Diggers before tackling this in order to be aware of what has happened previously. Its strong point is the interesting way in which different everyday and mechanical objects are described and this could be useful in a scientific/D.T session.I personally found it difficult to listen to and had to keep going back and relisten to sections to keep up with the plot, obviously this is time consuming on cd and you start to lose the fast pace of the story. A definite must for Terry Prachett fans.
