Mermaid Party

Continuing the 'Not Quite a Mermaid 'series, Mermaid Party sees Electra and the Merpeople preparing for the New Year day’s celebrations. Although she tries to lend a hand, everything Electra does, ends in disaster. But that doesn’t stop Electra exploring tunnels and caves and unwittingly letting sharks into the party. Thankfully, Electra and Splash think quickly and manage to save the day.

Whilst there is little new about Mermaid Party, it is a quick simply plotted novel which proves that anyone can triumph, no matter what disadvantages life throws at them, provided they keep on trying. This might be the kind of easily accessible novel to interest reluctant girls to get reading, when little else seems to work.
