It's bedtime for Cowboy Baby, but as often happens with young children, he doesn't want to go without his toys, Texas Ted, Denver Dog and Hank the Horse.  A witty and cosy bedtime story in a western setting for young children who will be able to empathise with Cowboy Baby. The story flows along rhythmicially and the use of illiteration makes the toy's names memorable. Additionally,the use of repetitive phrases invites participation from the listener. I particularly liked the large format which with the bold colourful illustrations make this an extremely engaging story book for the young reader. The
