Too Big!

Neil can’t wait to be bigger so that his parents may take him more seriously. More than anything, though, he wishes his mother would stop buying him clothes that are one or two sizes too big. His father on the other hand has decided that the tree in the garden is too big and would like to chop it down. Neil, however, likes that tree and thinks it would be perfect for a tree house.

When Neil’s mum buys a wardrobe which is too big to fit through the front door, the whole street gets involved in trying to get it into the house. All their attempts don’t work out quite as planned, but the end result is just perfect for Neil.

Too Big! is just right for young  newly independent readers and makes a delightfully entertaining read.
