A depiction of many kinds of wheels.
Review: Each spread has one or two pictures of items with wheels, including roller skates, a motorcycle, a stagecoach, and a moon buggy to name a few. The final spread says “which wheels?”, but shows only a few where it might have been nice to see more. That said, the interior front and back covers are lined with all kinds of wheels, and it is neat to see so many different wheels all in one place. All of the illustrations are consistent with Pieńkowski’s solid style – bright colors, simple settings supporting a focus on the central theme, and diverse characters.
