When Carlo goes to the library for the first time he isn't too sure about the Librarian at first but soon discovers her love of books and reading. Carlo ultimately enjoys his time at the library and there is a little surprise for him at the end!

This is a simple picture book which young children will enjoy. The illustrations are bright and colourful with lots to look at on every page. The story is told simply in short sentences and straightforward language and offers a predictable storyline for children to follow. As a bonus the book comes with an animated DVD narrated by Kevin Whately which provides an opportunity for children to enjoy the story again in a different form.
