The Egyptian News.

Packed with information and excitement, The Egyptian News is the best wauy ever to learn about Ancient Egypt.

This is a great way for a child in Key Stage 2 to access facts about Ancient Egypt. Presented in a newspaper format,  there are easy to read snippets of information about many aspects of life in Ancient Egypt such as food, marriage, farming, taxes, bartering, embalming and the after life. There are articles on the pyramids, deaths of pharoahs and queens and even an interview with a mummy maker accompanied by  eye-catching illustrations on every page. There is an easy to access index at the back of the book.

This would be a great aid to a child who had to complete a project about life in Ancient Egypt. It is also a very useful information book to have available as a classroom resource.
