Zoe and Chloe: Girls to Total Goddesses

Zoe and Chloe have a new mission – to transform themselves from girls into goddesses in just seven days. The question on your lips is probably ‘Why?’ and the answer is for Beast and Jailhouse Rock. This would probably not be an unlikely mission were it not for dilemmas of the bitchy, boy and best friend variety that always seem to get in the way. Zoe has realised that all was not quite as it seemed between Chloe and Beast and her heart has been overturned. She wants to win him, find a way of not upsetting her very best friend, compete with the new and gorgeous Charlie and make herself into a goddess. From housework to babysitting the world’s worst twins, losing competition entries and deceiving her best friend this is very much Zoe’s story but along with Chloe and a host of other wonderful characters Sue Limb has completely captured the typical mind of a teenage girl,  with great humour and understanding.

Limb writes extremely well and this book will appeal instantly to afemale  teenage audience. With laugh-out-loud scenes and a captivating narrative this is an excellent addition to the series and a wonderful follow on from her Girl 15 series. There are obsessions, embarrassments, disasters all of which are typical of a teenage life and that Limb has captured in her enviable style. Her writing is free of clutter, easy to read and pacy. Teenage girls will love Zoe and Chloe, learn a lot from them and find that they really enjoy reading with this wonderful book.
