Terrorism and Teen Fiction

In October we are discussing books that deal witht he controversial subject of terrorism. Is this a suitable subject for teen fiction? How should it be addressed? In the face of parental opposition, how do you justify the inclusion of books dealing with the subject? Focussing on a few recommended titles, we aim to address some of these issues in this month's forum.

Simon Barrett has produced a reading guide to help us reflect on key questions and issues to consider when inclusing these books in an educational context.

Download the guide in PDF format.
