The Three Little Princesses

Synopsis: Meet Phoebe, Pruella and Pip, three little princesses who have a big adventure!

Review: Phoebe, Pruella and Pip are three pony-loving princesses who live in Pepperpot Palace with their parents, the king and queen. They can't wait till their father's fancy-dress birthday ball - then disaster strikes! The key to Toby the time machine is missing and if Toby stops the kingdom (and everyone in it) will disappear!

This audiobook is described as beging best suited to ages 3-8 years although after listening to it I think it is more aimed at the lower end of this age range. It is a delightful tale full of fairy tale characteristics and characters. There is a helpful structure to the way the princesses each comment on the events in turn which would be pleasing to younger listeners. The story is quite 'girly' in the traditional sense and may not be as appealing to boys of the same age.
