Horrid Henry and the Abominable Snowman

Synopsis:Building a snoeman brings out Henry's competitive streak; he sets up monstrous Makeovers to rival Moody Margarets Miraculous Makeovers and spends a rainy day writing his will thinking "you'll all be sorry when I'm dead!"

Review: This was an excellent audio retelling of Francesca Simons stories. Miranda Richardson portrays the characters with fantasic voices that matches them so well from Perfect Peter to Moody Margaret. During the leadup to Christmas I played this to my Year 3/4 class who thoroughly enjoyed it and kept asking for it to be played nearly every day! The four stories are amusing and you wish Henry would just realise how he gets himself into these problems. This is a definite winner for this age group and much work could be done on oral story telling from this CD.
