Henry V; The Graphic Novel - quick text
The Bard’s historic tale of war and peace between England and France during the reign of Henry V is brought to life through a full colour graphic novel! This comic book format has reduced Shakespeare’s dialogue to as few words as possible, making it an accessible introduction to the complex work for Key Stage 3, and for very low ability pupils at Key Stage 4. It still retains the essence of the story and could serve as a preface to the original text after pupils are familiar with the characters and plot. The focus is on the amazing illustrations which provide rich visual stimuli, including all learners in the appreciation of the play. A highly recommended resource.
