Baby Touch Peekaboo Book

Synopsis: This robust board book has lots to see and touch. It is designed to be interactive so there are flaps to lift, textures to feel and brightly coloured pictures children are likely to be familar with such as bees, butterflies, tractors. There is lots to talk about and the author addresss the reader, 'Now see the whale with her tail'. A baby's face is hidden in the pictures and on every page there is an invitation: 'Wave to the baby'.

Review: This book presents exciting challenges : finding the baby on every page, guessing what'sunder the flap by feeling through a window to the texture underneath and finally recognising the baby in the mirror on the final page. The text lends itself to sharing and resharing with an adult as there is lots to talk about. Textures are varied:knobbly, furry, hairy and it's visually exciiting with bright colours and sparkly inserts. Good value.
