She uncovers the horrifying truth about the cyber clinic and the way Applaoosians treat Wayfarers. Lalune must somehow wake up. It is a story that is an emotional rollercoaster. Solly and Lalune are bound by a deep friendship, which Erica Blaney’s writing makes palpable.
The story moves from feelings of uncertainty, loss and misery to moments of knowledge that are both dreadful and fearful. Throughout there is hope and optimism in promises made. Erica Blaney also tells a compelling story about an alien world and an alien way of life from the two different perspectives of Solly and Lalune. These are cleverly woven together to bring the story to an exciting climax.
