The Fabulous Fairy Feast

The Fairy Queen is having a party and Lizzie Little-Fairy is thrilled to be invited. She arrives on her flying pink bicycle and the fun soon begins. But the Fairy Queen’s monkey, Maurice, is in a mischievous mood and soon he creates magical mayhem. Will everything be made right before midnight strikes?

It is an exciting day in fairy-land for the Fairy Queen has invited all the fairies, and their pets to her midnight feast. Lucy-Little Fairy along with her pet frog Burp arrives at the party on her flying pink bicycle - needless to say she is the envy of all her friends! But this envy is forgotten as soon as the Queen’s monkey weaves some spectacular magic from her handbag! There is mayhem and no one is quite sure if by midnight they will be able to enjoy their feast. Can the Fairy Queen come to the rescue?

Told with flair and imagination this is a lovely story for l girls who like fairies and have their very own midnight feast. The illustration is full of movement as the fairies dance around and magic swirls through the air. Sparkly bright pinks and yellows are used to describe fairyland, but there is acontrast between this and the darkness of the forest prior to the party. Clever devices such as fold out pages, a tall tree that the text follows requiring the reader to turn the book add up to create an innovative, exciting and fun filled storybook that is enchanting, amusing and surprising all at once.
