. Katie is left to look after her sister's baby and although she is sure she can cope somehow you just know things are going to go wrong. Lots of things happen with hilarious outcomes but all ends well. The book is written with warmth and humour and an understanding and liking of the characters. It would appeal mainly to young girls around 10-12, who could envisage themselves in Katie's shoes.This chapter book is part of a series . It has lively humorous black and white illustrations throughout the text. An enjoyable story with a twist at the end.
