Venom Rising

It takes a desperate man to do what Special Agent Jack Strong is about to do. Time is running out for Jack, he has a dossier that it is no longer safe for him to keep, he must leave it somewhere and hope that whomever picks it up, and as a result holds the key to the future of humankind, is brave enough to enter the secret world of intelligence. It will be up to them to crack codes, solve puzzles, infiltrate and destroy the enemy’s Mission Control website. The enemy must be stopped before it is too late.

Review: Special Agent Jack Strong of the Global Intelligence Organisation has been keeping a dossier of information on the organisation, Stealth. Stealth are planning to detonate a nuclear dirty bomb. It goes without saying that the destruction this will cause is unthinkable. As far as Jack and the GIO are concerned this must not be allowed to happen. However, Jack is in trouble, he is just minutes away from being captured by Stealth agents and has left this dossier in the hope that all his notes on the mission along with the codes needed to enter Stealth’s website and shut it down for good, will fall into the tight hands. Open it up and read if you dare, if you are brave enough to take on the mission.

Gary Murray, author of this imaginative approach to a spy thriller is a former Armed forces Special Investigator, counter-intelligence operative who has worked undercover for MI5 and US customs. Written in the style of a journal or diary, with entries on a regular basis over just a few days but at different times throughout the day.  This book is written in a short and snappy style, relaying a sense of urgency and desperation. Packed full of notes, sketches and additional information as well as pages of codes and even a glossary and space for note taking this is a must read for all would-be intelligence officers and spies. It truly makes the reader believe that they are deeply involved in the foiling of a sinister plot and that by taking action they can make the difference.

‘Venom Rising’ is a brilliantly conceived take on action spy thrillers, an interactive, well told story that will draw in and captivate its readers.
