:Paddington Bear always manages to find himself in tricky situations, sometimes extraordinary situations. Then one day, a mysterious visitor arrives at thirty-two Windsor Gardens. Is it time for Paddington to decide where 'home' really is?
Review: Celebrating 50 years of Paddington, this 3 disc audio CD will hopefully reaquaint people with the bear from Peru and find new fans amongst their childrena and grandchildren. It is a wonderful collection of Paddington stories read by the marvellous Stephen Fry, who skillfully captures the personality of the characters.
The stories are full of very subtle humour that, I personally, had not noticed before. This could be because listening to the stories you become more attuned to what is actually happening. It is a shame that the index list for each disc just refers to track 1, 2 3 etc and doesn't name each chapter. This makes it difficult to find a specific story, particularly when it is being demanded by a small child!
On the whole, fantastic!
