Review: Gossie and Friends is a very strong board book with large sturdy flaps, which are easy for small hands to open. The illustrations are simple and clear, and will delight any child. The book covers many different topics in a simple and gentle fashion. There is plenty of focus on colour, for example Gossie likes red boots while Gertie favours blue ones. Toddlers are invited to look under the flaps to discover where Gossie lives, which objects are blue and to count Gossie and her friends. Other concepts that are introduced include up and down, under and over, weather and seasons. A double flap provides a lovely surprise at the end.

Toddlers and their parents will enjoy this excellent board book.
