We are the Wolf Clan. Long ago our ancestors swore brotherhood with the wolves.

Coll’s people are under attack. The Wolf King, a terrifying masked horseman armed with a sword, is leading the wolves - their former friends - against them. Two people have disappeared: Coll’s brother and Grayla’s father. Desperate to find their missing kinsmen, Coll and Grayla steal away from the homestead at night and go in search of them. My new Young Adult novel, ALICE IN LOVE AND WAR, will be published by Walker Books in September 2009. Set during the English Civil War, it’s the story of 16-year-old Alice Newcombe, who falls in love with a soldier and follows him to the wars. Caught up in the horror of conflict, Alice is forced to grow up quickly and will need all her courage and resourcefulness to survive.

The HISTORICAL HOUSE series will be published in America in January 2009. This series is set in an old house in London and each story features a girl living at a different time in history.
