Born and raised in Conwy, North Wales, Mat moved to Oxford and completed his teaching degree there. Currently teaching Year 6 at Wantage CE Primary School, Oxfordshire, he is the Literacy Coordinator and involved in improving the teaching of writing through the use of IT as well as fostering a love of reading throughout the school. His current project involves the running of an ever-expanding book-group which involves teachers, TAs, parents and pupils (past and present). He has been a visiting lecturer at Oxford Brookes University (covering topics such as IT and Literacy). A voracious reader of children’s literature as well as adult, Mat tries and write as often as possible whilst still striving to find the right balance between work and play. |

She is currently figuring out how to embark on a career in writing, as once her youngest child starts school in September 2010, it's either writing or a "proper job!" Kelly's other interests are mainly centred around her allotment and its produce. You can contact Kelly at
