Written by Nikki Gamble
Monday, 07 May 2007

Image Throughout the month of May the Federation of Children’s Book Groups will be celebrating the power of story with its National Share-a-Story Month. Children will have a chance to MAKE HISTORY by entering the National Share a Story Month competition, supported by English Heritage, with opportunities to bring history to life, using author visits, local history and their own experiences to create their entries.

To win a digital camera, signed copies of the Historical House books and £500 worth of books for your school, children in primary and secondary schools are invited to write a  Historical Story selected from a choice of topics. Download the competition leaflet for full details and submission address. Closing date 15th June 2007.
