The Winner of the 2007 Kelpies Prize was announced at an award ceremony at the Edinburgh Festival on 22nd August. Annemarie Allan was presented with a winners cheque for £2000 by the previous winner Mike Nicholson. Her novel, Hox, will be published in the Kelpies series on 11th October.
