National Bookstart Day is to be held on Friday 5 October 2007, with Bookstart's biggest ever celebration of the importance of enjoying books from an early age. Bookstart aims to help every child in the UK to develop a lifelong love of books and this year's programme will offer millions of children and parents the chance to discover the joy of reading together.
