Mick Manning and Brita Granström collected a prestigious book prize on Wednesday 21st May. The multi award-winning husband and wife team picked up the English Association¹s Award for the Best Illustrated Children¹s Book (Non-fiction, key stage 2) for GREEK HERO in the Fly on the Wall series published by Frances Lincoln.

They donated the book (all the original art work) to Seven Stories, the centre for Children¹s Books in Newcastle. The book was also selected by Nikki Gamble as a  highlight in the Best News Children¹s Books (Spring 2008) Guide produced for the National Year of Reading.
